In Mealglance, open You → Connect with email to link an address to your current journal. To restore a linked journal on a device, choose email recovery and enter the address already linked to it. Mealglance sends a one-time code; enter that code in the app. Check your spam folder and confirm the address if the message does not arrive. If no code arrives after a few minutes, contact support. Never share the code with anyone.
Choose another clear photo, or enter the meal manually. Mealglance prepares a JPEG without the original location and camera metadata, and analysis accepts photos up to 4 MiB. If the file is too large, choose a smaller image. Analysis needs an internet connection and your consent; selected photos and any notes are sent for analysis only after you agree and tap Analyze. You can review the estimate before saving it.
Manual meal entries are saved on your iPhone first. If the cloud cannot be reached, the pending change waits on the device and Mealglance retries syncing when a connection is available. Photo analysis needs an internet connection. Keep the app on the same device until pending entries have synced, especially before changing accounts or deleting the app.
Open You → Export my journal. Mealglance creates a JSON file with your profile and meals and opens the iOS share sheet, where you choose where to save or send it.
Open You → Delete account and cloud journal and confirm. This removes the cloud account, profile, meals, and scan counts, then clears the journal and saved session from the app on this iPhone. Deletion cannot be undone. If device cleanup is still pending, unlock and reopen Mealglance to finish it.
A journal with a linked email can be recovered on another device using the email recovery flow. An anonymous journal without a linked email cannot be recovered if the iPhone is lost or the app is removed. If the original device is still available, open Mealglance and link an email before moving to a new device.
